Online Safety for children

Keeping Safe online is really important to us at Deanery. It forms an essential part

of our curriculum, both within Computing and everyday use of technology online. Our SCARF

scheme within PSHE also teaches our students key issues connected to online safety.

As well as this every year we take part in the national internet safety day and get the children actively involved in thinking for theirselves why they need to keep safe whilst on all of their electronic devices.

This year we ran a competition for the children to design a poster which would be displayed around school to help remind of of ways to keep safe. Here is the winning design below...

To further raise awareness of online safety issues we connect to our parents and community via the use of 'Wake up Wednesday'. This contains current and relevant online safety tips to

enable online safety to continue at home.
